Northern Exposure

August 8, 2017

I've lived in Far Northern Queensland for almost two years now, and every-time that I leave the house, it still never ceases to amaze me just how pretty this part of Australia is. The last place I lived was in Western New South Wales, which when looking at Cairns, has a vastly contrasting landscape. Flat, dry and isolated. Cairns feel completely different. I love stepping out of the front door and being surrounded by monolithic hills of green forest.

It's due in large part to this natural beauty that I've been taking my camera with me whenever I go on a drive or a walk. There are some truly amazing places up here. Even with my own limited skill and experience with a camera, I think I've managed to snap some cool images. Below are some shots from the Cairns Botanical Gardens, Trinity Beach and Clifton Beach.
